My name is Zoe Rabinowitz and I believe that everyone can benefit from finding someone to help foster self-compassion, connection, and trust. I work with clients of all ages who are struggling with eating disorders, body dysmorphia, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I strive to create a collaborative, authentic, safe, and supportive space where we can work together to explore the deeper issues keeping you stuck and disconnected from fully participating in life.

My approach is warm, inviting, and conversational. For most, this process can be challenging and intimidating. My goal is to help guide you through these decisions and provide you with the skills and support needed in continuing to navigate this world. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the backbone to effective therapy and trust is a basis of change. I strive to offer and provide a safe and supportive environment where you can feel heard and validated. I believe that you are the driver of your own therapy, however; my role is to be an active passenger and co-pilot utilizing non-judgmental observations to illicit insights and motivation throughout your process.

I earned my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where their teachings were rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Approach (CBT). Throughout my career, specializing in treating individuals struggling with eating disorders in a variety of settings such as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), my experience has allowed me to work from multiple modalities and frameworks. With the utilization of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) we can explore skills surrounding emotional regulation, barriers to interpersonal effectiveness, and practice mindfulness. Through Systemic therapy, we can explore the greater system you play a role in and the impact your surroundings have on self and others. Together we will explore which modalities best serve you and your needs.

My favorite thing about being a therapist is the connection I form with my clients and the change I’ve been privileged to witness. This process can be difficult and uncomfortable, and it is inspiring to see just how strong and resilient humans can be. Outside the session room, you will find me playing with my two dogs, spending time with my son and husband, hiking, beach-lounging, reading, and re-watching New Girl.
