Specialties: Individual and Couples
Iām Danielle (she/her/hers), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist focused on creating a warm environment for individuals, families, and couples. My hope is each client will be able to be their authentic selves, emotionally heal, and experience mental freedom. To cultivate this atmosphere, I strive to remain curious and highlight client strengths to help them feel seen and heard.
As a systemic therapist, I employ aspects of Narrative Therapy along with elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients build their sense of self, process root issues, and explore their feelings. When utilizing Narrative Therapy, I support clients on their healing journey, rewrite past narratives, externalize messages, and increase their self-confidence. With the use of IFS, I aid clients in understanding their various parts and assist them in identifying the role each part plays. I appreciate being able to collaborate with clients on their path to wellness and restoration in the areas of identity formation, self-worth, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma using these practices.
I graduated from Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) with a concentration in family therapy. Prior to attending TJU, I worked as a mental health rehabilitation specialist providing parents and guardians with interventions to support their children struggling with aggressive and defiant behaviors. In my free time, I enjoy creative activities, walking my dog, playing a solo game of bananagrams, and watching New Girl for the umpteenth time.
