Marin Roth (she/her/hers) is a marriage and family therapist passionate about building a space of compassion and connection with her clients. First and foremost, Marin is a fellow human on this crazy journey called life. She feels lucky to walk alongside clients in some of the most challenging and beautiful parts of this journey. She is honored to get to witness the growth, acceptance, and connection that comes with courageously opening up to a more vulnerable way of living. Amidst all this, Marin finds that it is crucial not to take ourselves too seriously. One of her favorite parts of therapy is getting to know the humans in front of her and finding the joy and humor amidst it all. Healing is not all seriousness and tears, but is found in connection that is often punctuated with belly laughs and banter. Every part of you is welcome and met with open arms.

Marin practices with a balance of warmth and directness, fostering an environment where clients feel safe and supported as they are challenged to move toward a more vulnerable and genuine way of connecting with themselves and others. It is no small task to navigate the complexities of connection and the messiness of being human. Marin believes that stories are a powerful tool in doing this, and have the ability to change the way we experience the world. Marin is passionate about working with clients to build the life and the story that is most meaningful and empowering to them.

Marin works with couples, families, and individuals navigating relational conflict, self-worth, and life transitions. She holds gently the lasting impact of historical and relational wounds, and practices with a trauma informed and identity affirming approach. Using a systemic and Narrative lens, she draws from Internal Family systems, Relational Life Therapy and experiential therapy models to inform an approach to therapy that is tailored to every client’s unique needs and considerate of their broader context. Her hope is that clients leave therapy feeling empowered to ask for what they need, live with joy and balance, and build more meaningful and nourishing relationships.
