Low Cost Therapy
Working with our interns is a wonderful opportunity to receive quality care at a low fee. Interns are current students working on their Graduate Degree in Counseling and/or Psychotherapy. Each Intern works directly under a Licensed Supervisor at our group and will meet with their supervisor for at least 1 hour per week to discuss cases. This means that our Interns will discuss each of their cases with their supervisor, and will sometimes record sessions for supervision.
Interns discussing their cases with their supervisor, and presenting video and/or audio is solely for the purpose of maintaining quality therapeutic care. All recordings will be destroyed at the end of the semester in which services are provided.
Due to the Interns being in graduate school, it is possible that they won’t be continuing with The Therapy Group upon graduation. In this case, after termination with their current Intern Therapist, clients do have the choice to continue working with another Intern if they prefer.
