Gabriela Snyder (she/her/hers) is a Marriage and Family Therapist whose passion is helping clients to achieve personal growth and build joy, connection and intimacy in their most important relationships. Gabriela brings a systemic view to her therapeutic approach by understanding that, when people experience challenges and turmoil in their life, there are many influencing factors at play.   She offers unconditional positive regard, authenticity, warmth, empathy and compassion to treating individuals, couples and families - and employs techniques from experiential and humanistic approaches to help clients find hope and healing.

Gabriela has a passion for helping individuals and families who are most at need – especially women, parents and couples. She has worked with clients struggling with self-worth and self-esteem, emotional and behavioral concerns, cross-cultural challenges, career changes, stressors related to parenting and life transitions, anxiety and depression, marital conflict, addiction, grief/loss and trauma. Gabriela is trained in EMDR and also specializes in working with individuals, couples and parents struggling with an ADHD diagnosis.

Gabriela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Amherst College and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from La Salle University.  Prior to becoming an MFT, Gabriela worked in corporate, non-profit and academic settings and she brings those experiences with her to the clinical practice.  She lives in suburban Philadelphia with her husband and three children.

Therapy should be a safe space for self-exploration, growth and connection.  Gabriela works hard to ensure that her clients experience this from the very first session.

*Gabriela tambien ofrece terapia en español para individuos, parejas y familias que se encuentran en necesidad de servicios terapéuticos en su lengua natal.
