I'm Luisa Silva-Casullo, LMFT (she/her/hers), a passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to guiding individuals through their unique therapeutic journeys. As a mom of two young children, I intimately understand the complexities of the transition to parenthood, allowing me to be particularly attuned to the needs of women navigating this transformative phase of life. I specialize in supporting individuals at any phase of their reproductive journey, addressing themes such as contemplating whether or not to have children, fertility struggles, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and coping with the challenges of parenthood.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in a systemic perspective, recognizing that challenges often manifest within the context of relationships. I collaborate with my clients to identify personalized, both individual and relational, solutions. Embracing a strengths-based perspective, I strive to illuminate my clients' inherent strengths, leveraging them as powerful tools for positive change. My therapeutic style is warm and encouraging.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of being a therapist is the opportunity to hold space and bear witness to people's stories and their healing journeys. The strength and vulnerability required in this process are not something I take lightly; I feel truly honored to be part of this transformative experience for individuals.
Educationally, I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from La Salle University. I am a certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor in Training.
Outside of my work, my world revolves mostly around my two young children. In my precious free time, I deeply enjoy reading, cooking & baking, cherishing moments with loved ones, and I can't neglect to mention my slight obsession with anything and everything related to BRAVO.
