Hello! I'm Angela (she/her/hers) and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist who has a passion for working with couples, families, and individuals. I have a special interest in working with family conflict, relationship ruptures, and life transitions. I have experience working with adults to decrease anxiety and improve self esteem. I love working with people to help them create and maintain healthy relationships with themselves and others. I like to use an array of different modalities so I can find the one that works best for you. Some theories that I typically use are experiential, emotion focused, and internal family systems. Each of these theories has a way of highlighting your own experiences and emotions. They help give me the most well rounded picture of who you are and how to help you achieve what you want to achieve in therapy.

Wondering what else you can expect from a session with me? Well, if there is one thing I can guarantee you’ll get from therapy with me, it’s a decent amount of metaphors. I find that it’s easiest to learn and apply certain changes into our lives when we use examples that are relatable to our interests or our life! One of my main principles of therapy is that to live a fulfilling life it is important to know how to live an authentic and relational life. So, the very beginning will start with getting to know you, your background, and all the factors that play a role in painting the picture of you. For couples and families, I focus a lot on each person as an individual, as well as how each person shows up in the relationship that they are in. I want you to feel safe and supported in this space, so I show up as my authentic self to help foster the therapeutic relationship. I believe that the best healing can come from some cathartic tears and some hearty laughter. I want to see you succeed in life, so I prioritize creating an empathetic and honest space so healing and growth can happen. Being able to form the words to express your feelings, needs, and desires is important, and finding the way to create vulnerable moments filled with connection and not tainted with shame and judgment is something I have experience helping people achieve.

I graduated from Drexel University with a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My favorite thing about being a therapist is seeing client’s reach their goals! It is an honor to bear witness to the tremendous amount of effort and work that client’s put into themselves and their relationships in order to live a fulfilling life. In my free time, you can find me spending quality time with loved ones, playing board games (especially clue), catching up on game show reality tv, or crocheting!
