what is the GRIEF GROUP?
This group is for young adults who have experienced the death of a parent and are looking for a space to process the often complicated feelings that come with grief. Grief can feel lonely, group therapy offers an opportunity to connect with other people through shared life experience. This is NOT a workshop where you sit and listen. This is a process group that relies on the participation of group members sharing, listening, and providing feedback to one another.

Join a community of people who just get it, and a sense of comfort knowing that you’re not alone.
Joining the grief group will help you gain new insights and perspectives for approaching your grief in a judgement-free space to process confusing and contradicting feelings - from the gut-wrenching pain to feelings like humor, relief, and anger.
Together, you will challenge the expectations of what grief is “supposed to look like”, navigate moments of unexpected grief and share your grief with others.
